The Trough

Cranbrook - Charity Farm TN17 3PS

The Trough is our cafe located here on site. We serve breakfast, brunch and lunch options until 3pm. Then cold food and drink until close. We are open Mon-Fri 8:30-17:30, Sat 9-16:30, Sun 9-16:00. Dogs are welcome and air con is on!

Dog friendly dining is M.O. for this coffee joint, which is well loved by Cranbrook folk for their sound menu. Savoury or sweet, you can't order wrong but you will want to go back for more!

Don't miss this little cafe, tucked away but still on the high street, Food For Thought stands out with their Fair trade coffees and teas. Like most eateries in Kent, Food For Thought are proud to use fresh, locally sourced ingredients on their menu. If the weather permits, you can sit outside in their secluded garden.

Hartley Coffee House

Cranbrook - Hartley Dyke Farm, Hartley Road, TN17 3QG

A short walk to the top of the lane and you will find Harley Coffee House, an airy cafe with outside seating that looks over the orchards. Be sure to visit the fishmongers while you're there for top quality catches.

Hawkhurst Fish Farm - Waterside Cafe

Relax and enjoy your day at Hawkhurst fish farm, whether you're a keen fisher yourself, or just happy watching, the fish farm is a great day out! Take your family to the Waterside Cafe and watch the shimmering water whilst enjoying something to snack on.

A huge favourite with the locals, The George Hotel always has a buzzing atmosphere. Taste their delicious menu, or stop by for a few drinks. The George has been open since 1300 and has hosted King Edward I as well as Queen Elizabeth I in 1573, why don't you see what the fuss is all about? Oh, and dogs are welcome too, what more could you ask for?

An award winning micropub run by a local family serving mainly local ales, ciders, wines and spirits. It may be small, but this place has huge character and a buzzing atmosphere. Dare to try something different from their ever-changing board of local brews.
