GLAMPING & CAMPING
Welcome to Star Field Glamping and Camping, tucked away behind Charity Farm, under a blanket of stars, Star Field is the perfect retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful escape to unwind with a clear view of the night sky.
We are a family run site, based on a working farm in Cranbrook, Kent. Our focus is natural, greener camping which is why we are a member of The Greener Camping Club, and celebrate the unrefined habitat on our site.
We have a number of spacious pitches alongside our glamping units, which include bell tents, safari tents and a 'tiny house'. No matter your style, there's something here for you. The site is also available to hire exclusively, to make your event one to remember!
This year we introduced The Tiny House, a unit that we are lucky enough to host for the time being, which is a great alternative for those who just can't live without a little electricity. We also have our 2 brilliant safari tents, Robin & Wren; 2 luxury lotus bell tents, Bramble & Nettle; 2 traditional naked bell tents, Dandelion & Thistle; as well as 14 spacious grass pitches.
What Is The Greener Camping Club?
The GCC are an organisation committed to sustainable, responsible, eco-friendly camping. As a GCC campsite, we require anyone staying with us to buy a GCC membership. Once you pay the small fee for the membership, you can visit any of the 140 GCC campsites throughout the year without buying the membership again.
This membership fee goes towards their 'Trees For Life' scheme whereby a tree is planted for every member enrollment. Some of these trees are sent to us and we plant them around the campsite.
We keep print outs of walks and trails from our campsite and surrounding areas in the glamping guide books, and by our notice board.
If you'd like to plan we've handpicked the most useful walking websites and routes to print.
If you fancy a speedier tour you could always hire an electric bike.
Make the most of your stay by taking a look at what's going on locally. A Kentish summer is packed with town and village fetes, farmers markets and open gardens.
We've also added dates for live music, open air cinemas and wine tasting days on our calendar.
